With current foreclosure rates, job losses, and other economic factors impacting our community, it is critical that we address these issues and concerns that plague area residents. The expo will provide vital information including weatherization and energy efficiency, homebuyer tax credits, homebuyer education, foreclosure prevention, affordable housing for purchase and rent, resources for homeless individuals and families, fair housing laws and more! As an added bonus to the expo, a vacant store will be designated for 15- minute presentations given by vendors and sponsors periodically throughout the day! Attendees to these “mini sessions” will gain knowledge on topics such as energy efficiency, credit repair, local housing programs, mortgage lending options and others.
